The body uses Himeji shrunken oiled leather, made from fine North American hides tanned by a leading tannery in Himeji and treated with oil.
The rare shadow finish is created as artisans spray special dye by hand, particularly around the stitching. Delicate gradations and depth give the leather a rich, antique-like character from the start, as though cherished for years.
Because it is done by hand, every finish and pattern of shading differs. Even within the same model, it offers the special feeling of owning a unique piece.
