An adjustable-thickness book cover in Japanese paperback (bunkobon) size, made with “Pueblo” leather from the Italian tannery Badalassi Carlo.

The thickness is adjustable, so it wraps everything from thin books to substantially thick paperbacks at just the right fit. Even as the book you are reading changes, you can keep using it every time. We have also prepared a dedicated size for Hayakawa Bunko editions, which are taller than standard paperbacks.
To ensure long use, the outer edges of the book cover are hand-stitched. This prevents the leather from stretching or deforming, for a finish that holds its shape well. Meanwhile, the thickness-adjustment section is deliberately left unstitched so that it folds easily. It is crafted to value both durability and ease of use.
Pueblo is a leather with a scratch-finished surface. Marks picked up through use are less noticeable, so you can use it without worrying about everyday handling. And the more you use it, the more its color and texture change, developing a distinct character for each owner. The more it accompanies your daily reading, the more it becomes uniquely yours, together with your books.
