Contrary to its rugged appearance, elephant leather has a nubuck-like texture with a fine surface nap. Supple and smooth against the fingertips, it also offers high durability against friction and daily use.
A generous single piece forms the exterior to fully showcase the leather. Random wrinkles, grain, and shading that changes with the light create a character unique to its owner.
The interior uses steerhide with a subdued black vegetable-tanned finish. It complements the strong exterior while gaining luster and softness with use, offering the rich character leather develops over time.
