This classic BUSH CLOVER frame Boston bag generously uses rare Russian calf from renowned British tannery J. & F.J. Baker & Co.
Russian calf is a rare leather recreating material once used for harnesses and military boots in Imperial Russia. Traditional methods using birch oil and tar produce a distinctive scent, deep color, and a sheen that increases with use.
A diamond crosshatch surface and tough yet supple fibers provide durability and a distinctive presence. Abundant oils create a soft, supple texture that develops a patina unique to its owner over the years.
A wide-opening frame and Italian-made brass combination lock create a substantial classic appearance that makes even opening and closing the bag a pleasure.
The handles are individually carved from layered leather for a naturally comfortable grip and ample strength.
Dark brown pig suede lines the interior, gently protecting belongings and conveying quality whenever the bag is opened.
Five brass feet on the base provide stable placement while protecting the leather from scratches and dirt.
