A tall shoulder bag made from crocodile, named Pocket. We chose the name hoping mature men would use it casually, as though it were an extension of a clothing pocket.
This luxurious bag uses one entire crocodile hide approximately 45cm wide at the center of the belly, with nothing wasted. Enjoy the powerful presence of a single hide and the beauty of its natural pattern.
The tall shape makes contents easy to see from above while helping prevent them from spilling. Those with large hands can simply reach in and naturally retrieve what they need—another aspect of its convenient design.
This bag originally began as a women's design. But made entirely in center-cut crocodile, it felt a little too rugged for women. We realized that on a mature man, it would instead appear elegant. Although suitable for any gender, it particularly complements men of a distinguished age.
About the Leather
The crocodile used for this bag emerged from the constant experimentation of the president of a tannery we had worked with for years. He applied black to crocodile originally dyed another color, then rubbed it back. Each hide looks different after rubbing, making the leather difficult to use for quantity production.
Baggart's flexibility allowed us to work with it, creating a piece found only here. Even crocodile collectors are unlikely to have seen products with such a rough finish. This is truly for enthusiasts.
After tanning, it is dried naturally without excessive stretching, preserving crocodile's original raised texture for a richly expressive finish.
