To make one bag, make three bags.

It may sound a little strange.

With full-order Has, we don't just cut the actual leather and create the finished product.

First, turn the shape you have in your head into a blueprint.

Then, we turn the blueprint into an actual form.

As we do this, we will gradually move closer to completion.

You can't judge everything about a bag just by looking at a flat drawing.

height.

Width.

Depth.

handle length.

The balance when you hold it in your body.

And a slight bulge drawn by the curve.

Even if the numbers are correct, when you actually see it in 3D, the impression may be different from what you had imagined.

That's why at Has, we value the prototyping process when producing fully custom orders.

First, we design based on the customer's wishes and usage.

Then, they make a pattern and assemble it into a shape that closely resembles the actual bag.

Sometimes you can only see it once you try to give it a shape.

It would be more beautiful if the height was a little lower.

This curve should be slightly gentler.

If you slightly change the joining position, the overall appearance will be better.

This size looks more natural when you hold it.

I will pick up these discomforts one by one.

Then, make it again with the revised design.

When making a full Has order, we repeatedly make these prototypes to get closer to the final form.

Even in the fully custom production example introduced on the official website, we first create a pattern out of cardboard and then make the first sample out of leather. After that, we make a second sample from the revised pattern, make further adjustments to the details, and move on to actual production.

The first is to confirm the shape I had in mind.

The second is to correct that discomfort.

And finally, the third step is the actual leather.

Therefore,

Make three bags to complete.

If you only look at the completed bag, you won't see the two images that came before it.

However, the beautiful curves and balance of the finished product did not emerge out of nowhere.

Make it and see it.

Fix it and make it again.

Change the line by a few millimeters, redraw the line, and check again.

There is one final thing beyond that repetition.

Handiwork is not the only thing that Has values.

Before you move your hand, think about it, make sure it takes shape, and think again.

``Design'', which cannot be seen from the finished product, is also a part of manufacturing.

Behind one bag is another that was never completed.

This is also an important process that supports Has's manufacturing.
