Approximately 20 years have passed since Hidaka began working with leather.

Its origins lie in my student days when I was studying fashion.

After graduating from a vocational school, I joined a leather goods manufacturer and was involved in everything from manufacturing to planning, until leather goods took shape.

Meanwhile, I continue to learn about bag making by attending an authentic hand-sewn bag atelier.

Sew one stitch at a time.

Each step of the process is invisible to the finished product.

The accumulation of these efforts has led to Has's current manufacturing.

In 2013, he launched his own brand "HIDA".

In addition to producing custom-made products and exhibiting at galleries and department stores, I have also been involved in product development for leather goods brands, guidance for craftsmen, and construction of production systems.

In 2022, Has Co., Ltd. was established.

We set up an atelier and gallery in Yakuin, Fukuoka and began creating new products.

At Has, what we value is not just showing off the technology we have cultivated.

Identifying the unique characteristics of each piece of leather and finding the shape that makes that leather look its best.

While facing the process of making things with their own hands, they look at the expression of the leather and think about the shape that is appropriate for the material.

Because I have been working with leather for about 20 years, there are things that can be removed.

And even after you remove it, there is something that remains.
