東京都の高円寺にて友人とこのバッグの構想を考え始めたのでそのまま'koenj,という作品名をつけさせていただきました。堅苦しくもなく、かといってラフすぎない、オンオフ問わず使える一生の相棒のようなバッグにしたく、デザインから素材の選定、裁断、縫製まで拘りを尽くしてとても良いバッグが出来上がったかと思います。メインの素材には国産のオイルシュリンクレザーを使用。厚みのある牛革を空打ちと呼ばれる自然な方法でシボ感と柔軟性をだしています。また染料により色を施しているのでとても深い色合いをしており、使い込むことでまた味わい深くなっていきます。内装にはkoshの定番素材である'ディアスウェード,を使用。非常に滑らかな肌触りでお荷物を優しく守ってくれます。収納面も優れており、3つの仕切りがある平面のポケットと、ファスナーポケットを配しています。手提げと、肩掛けができる絶妙な長さの持ち手となっております。サイズ感としましてはかなり大きなバッグとなりますので、様々なシーンで活躍してくれるかと思います。近日中にもう一回り小さなタイプもリリース予定ですので、そちらも合わせてご覧いただけたら幸です。
